Hey, folks, that docudrama about William Beatty is up on Youtube, if you haven’t seen it already. Worth a watch if you like any of the following things: Age of Sail, Nelson, fire-eating Irish sawbones who growl at everyone and everything while being better than u.

There is quite a lot of blood and grisly detail on the various horrible ways people died during naval battles, so consider yourself warned.

Also, Hornblower fans will recognise the Victory’s gunner, William Rivers Snr., as Captain Collins who sits on Hornblower’s court martial. 🙂
