last selfies in massachusetts- I leave at a ridiculous hour of the morning tomorrow, but I managed to get to the whaling museum and see a few William Bradford paintings today, which was excellent.

it’s 25 degrees out and there is an honest to god line to touch the john harvard statue. why are tourists.

there are several of those programable highway signs along I-95 in Rhode Island and currently they all say “SILVER BELLS OR SILVER SHACKLES” which is the most threatening yet festive warning against breaking traffic laws that I’ve ever seen

I have achieved the east coast! I didn’t anticipate it being such a thrill to see boston again- even just the first glimpse from the air- but it really was.
