The Shtandart (Russian Штандартъ), is a replica of an 18th century frigate. The original was the first frigate built at the Olonez shipyard under Peter the Great and the first ship put into service as a frigate for the Baltic Fleet.
K, whoever is perpetuating the strereotype that “boat” is insulting and “ship” is respectful needs to stop.
