I’ve seen a lot of hurt and angry tweets, blog posts, etc since the “big reveal” yesterday. They aren’t going to see all those tweets and blogs. Sure, they know they’re out there, but if you want to ensure they know why you’re hurting:

Progress was made quickly after the team committed to an adult discussion.

‘Ultimately,’ Rogers remarked, ‘I don’t agree. But I get why Tony’s concerned.’

‘Thanks Cap. You raise compelling points yourself.’

‘Sure is complicated,’ sighed Rhodes.

‘A proposal,’ said the Vision, having been quiet. ‘If the accords fail to address the full complexity of our context, might we reply with an alternative?’

Wilson looked up. ‘You’re saying negotiate?’

‘Could work,’ said Stark. Rogers nodded.

‘Well,’ replied Romanov. ‘Thank God that didn’t escalate.’

yes thank you! I keep reading reviews where it’s like ‘you’re either team cap or team iron man’ and i’m always like ummm…. I’m team grow the hell up because none of you are handling this like adults.

oh my god RIGHT. I was team cap based on the comics bc the whole superhuman/mutant registration act thing was obviously horrifying but that’s not what this was at ALL, not even a little, so Cap’s objection turns from moral high ground to ‘I WOULD agree to UN oversight instead of just running around the world blowing things up with no consequences BUT my bff is more important than civilian casualties or responsibility’

of course Tony also handled things poorly but that was kinda expected going in, tbh. End result is ‘THIS IS WHY YOU PEOPLE NEED ADULT (NON-EVIL, NON-TRAUMATIZED, NON-SPY) SUPERVISION’
