okay I mostly try to keep this blog to a fairly tight set of topics and don’t make a big deal of my gender/orientation/etc, but since a follower just commented on my personal post and I popped back to their blog to see who it was before I replied, and found their entire blog was radfem posts, I wanna make one thing very clear for you all:

I may be a cis lesbian but I sure as hell do not support TERFS/radfems/anyone who says gross shit about trans folks. please unfollow me if you are someone who holds those beliefs, I am not your friend or ally, and do not mistake me for one again. thanks.

There is a frog outside croaking so loudly I can hear him even though all the windows and doors are closed. On one hand, I am proud of him. What a strong-lunged boi. On the other, I am very concerned for him. It is too cold for you to be awake, Mr. Frog. Please go back to sleep.

a number of frogs are actually freeze-tolerant (to a degree.), and, in any case it’s unlikely to get down below the upper 40s tonight, so your small neighbor will almost certainly be fine!

I’ve been really productive and active for like two weeks solid now, and I honestly can’t tell if I’m having a longer than usual manic period or if this is just….. what being happy with life and liking one’s work feels like?? I think I might just be…. happy?

me, working my thesis project: the hardest part of interpretative writing is using accessible language to explain scientific concepts. trying to concisely describe what nurse logs do without just saying “ecological facilitation” is SO GODDAMN DIFFICULT

me, ten minutes later: god I love interpretative writing
